Blue Shop Gallery

It was time for Blue Shop Cottage to add another string to their bow. From their humble beginnings in a small shop front in Camberwell, the team at Blue Shop needed more space to hold shows for all the emerging artists they work so tirelessly to support and promote, but also to help continue building and supporting their community, as they do best.

Cue a dilapidated old cafe on Brixton Road, bursting with potential.

Work started swiftly and we were on a mission to create a space which would set Blue Shop apart from other galleries.

The aim was to create a main gallery that would hold artwork beautifully, but it was essential that we maintain the joy and quirks of the original gallery through the design of the auxiliary spaces.

And so Blue Shop Gallery was born.
